Purchase Orders
Need a Quote for a Purchase Order?
If you require a quote to generate a purchase order,
Please add your products to the cart and proceed to checkout. Based on the items and shipping address, the cart will be updated.
If the items are digital products, print and/or save the cart’s updated total as a PDF to submit to your purchasing team.
If the items are a mix of digital and physical products or physical products, you will be prompted to enter your email and shipping information. Enter the shipping address to generate shipping options and costs. Selecting a shipping option will automatically update the taxes and shipping charges in the cart. Print and/or save the cart’s updated total as a PDF to submit to your purchasing team.
When you are ready to pay for the order,
Log back into the CAL Store and complete your purchase with a credit card or
Please send the quote and your Purchase Order to the CAL store@cal.org.
Upon receipt of both the quote documentation and a form of payment (credit card, check, or PO), we will fulfill your order and reply to the email with an invoice for payment.
Paying with a Check?
Once the printed quote and purchase order are received and processed by CAL, an invoice will be generated and sent to you for payment.
To pay the invoice by check, please write your checks payable to the order of Center for Applied Linguistics and mail them to:

Please be sure to email the printed quote page and Purchase Order to store@cal.org.
Upon receipt of both the quote page and Purchase Order, we will fulfill your order and reply to the email with an invoice for payment.
Tax-Exempt Institutions
If your billing address is in the District of Columbia, the CAL Store online shopping cart will automatically calculate the sales tax on your order. Residents of all other states will not be charged sales tax. If you are a tax-exempt institution in the District of Columbia, you will need to place your order as indicated above and include documentation of your tax-exempt status in order to avoid being charged sales tax.
Returns Policy
While all sales through the CAL Store are final, customer satisfaction is very important to us. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us immediately, and we will do our best to resolve any issues you may have.
